Sheila Dantzler

Sheila lives by the principal, “You make a living by what you get; you make a life by what you give”. Giving 100% to her clients is her number one priority. Since the start of her career in July 2005, Sheila has closed approximately 100 million dollars’ worth of real estate. She is an award-winning producer with many accolades including: Jameson Sotheby’s International Platinum level, Crain’s 2021 Notable Real Estate Brokers (front cover), and the Chicago Association of Realtors Top Producer recognition. Sheila has been featured and quoted as a real estate expert in articles featured in USA Today, Chicago Sun Times, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Realtor Magazine, Michigan Avenue Magazine, Crain’s, and The Real Deal Chicago. She was also a frequent real estate expert on FOX 32 Chicago and did three episodes on HGTV (House Hunters, House Hunter’s Guide to House Hunting, and Good Buy/Bad Buy).

With over 15 years of experience, Sheila Dantzler is committed to her craft by earning the following designations – Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representative, Certified Negotiating Expert, and e-Pro
technology certification. In addition, she serves on many committees of the Chicago Association of Realtors – Vice-Chair of the Professional Standards, the 77 Diversity Committee, and the Cook County Assessor’s Office of Presidential Advisory Group.

Sheila has an extensive sales background, having sold software for IBM and Candle Corporation before venturing into entrepreneurship. After leaving corporate, she was a partner in a successful Events Management and PR firm. In a short time, Sheila’s real estate business has become 91% referral due to her excellent customer service, negotiation skills, and relentless follow-up.

Whether working with experienced sellers, first-time buyers, savvy investors, luxury market buyers/sellers, or large developers, Sheila’s commitment to excellence does not waver. Her goal for her clients is to make the home-buying and home-selling process as stress-free as possible.

Sheila holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Grambling State University, was the former Miss Black USA 1995, and serves as an active member of Jack and Jill of America Chicago Chapter and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her daughter and husband, Eric – a local real estate developer.
