Following a long and successful career on Wall Street, Adam Flax returned to the passion for real estate that he first discovered in the 1970s as property investor in South Florida. Adam's clients, who include buyers and sellers of premiere residential properties across Manhattan, benefit not only from his financial market expertise, but also his extensive knowledge of New York City's finest Uptown and Downtown neighborhoods. Adam brings a banker's eye for detail and a native New Yorker's love of culture to his work and gains true satisfaction from helping his clients navigate the complexities of the city's real estate market with ease. Focused planning, proactive communication, and straightforward advice are at the heart of his approach to providing exceptional service. He leverages his well-honed analytical skills and a deep understanding of market conditions to develop precise valuations for co-ops, condominiums, and townhouses. These valuations, in combination with savvy marketing plans and smart negotiations, position sellers to realize maximum sales prices and position buyers to secure optimal purchase prices. Since joining Brown Harris Stevens in 2009, Adam has worked closely with Curtis Jackson, one of the firm's top-producing brokers, to co-represent certain clients. Friends since childhood, Adam and Curtis share the belief that providing exceptional service is paramount to building a strong business and treating people well is the foundation of lasting relationships. Outside of work, Adam's greatest pleasure is playing the guitar. He studied music composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston and can occasionally be found performing in some of New York City's most legendary clubs.
