I'm in love with Montana. For other states I have admiration, respect, recognition, even some affection. But with Montana it is love.

My roots and values run deep in this land. I'm a third generation Montanan, born and raised in western Montana. I have spent many days on the lakes and rivers of this beautiful country and backpacked in the wilderness areas that make up millions of acres west of the continental divide. I grew up in Missoula and graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman.

As a healthcare executive for thirty-five years, I have had the opportunity to live on both coasts and in between; as well as travel the globe. I have hung my hat in other places; however, Montana will always be my home.

My hat, my home, Susan my wife, and our two Labrador Retrievers, Levi and Wrangler are all now in western Montana.
